Folding box-packaging of frozen products

Up to 16 different sorts of ice on a stick or hand-held ice packed in one folding box or one carton! The habits of consumers are not only very different from nation to nation, but also from region to region. Differing demands on taste and appearance call for differential assortments. We pack these in the frozen food centre Everswinkel near Münster/Wesphalia, we pack up to 16 different sorts of icecream sticks in one carton, in one sack or in one folding box.

As these products react very quickly to different temperatures, they have to be packaged directly from the frozen food zone. The whole packaging process from setting up the folding box or cartons to the loading of the completed pallet must take place optimally in a short period of time. For this purpose, we have established a production line with an automatic positioning and sealing appliance for folding boxes and cartons, so that up to 16 different small frozen food products can be packaged without any loss in quality. This facility is designed for an annual volume of approximately 20.000 pallets.
