Packaging chilled and frozen products

The packaging of chilled products and frozen products which means the creating of assortments in trays or cartons for the food retail sector has seen a rapid upturn in the last few years. Commerce shows demand for this in many sectors. Product assortments consist of differing single sorts in differing configurations. Frozen pizza, ice cream, frozen cakes, frozen convenience products, as well as yogurt, pudding, cheese; the list of products to be packed is long. It is unimportant whether you require tubs, bottles, bags or folding boxes, we will put any and every product in the desired sortation in cartons, trays, folding trays, sacks...

Each product is treated and packed according to specific standards. A tub of yogurt cannot be packed in the same way as a tub of ice cream. Particularly in the chilled foods sector, very fine temperature tolerances have to be considered. Our modern EDV is the backbone for the traceability from single products to assortments. We scan the SSCC (Human Readable Interpretation) of every pallet.

Single products and order picked assortments are matched in this way, and are traceable in every case. The volume of our annual packaging is at present approximately 35,000 pallets.
